I needed a longer and metal loft hatch key for my Trade Access Panels hatch, plastic key was wearing away and it would save me standing on a footstall. This did the job. I have added a rubber stopper on the end to help prevent scratching the the painted hole cover. It works a treat and now the wife and daughter can also access the loft.

Good but the wrong size for my loft - too big so had to angle grind to fit

I was a bit worried that something this length would actually turn my stiff loft hatch lock but this is a very solid piece of metal which has worked well.

This loft hatch key does the job really well and makes opening a heavy fire rated hatch much easier to do. I highly recommend this sturdy hatch key.
