This is a really great buy. The only thing I wish it had was some sort of iPad clamp but it isn’t advertised as such. At the one I was still just using paper charts and check lists and it works brilliantly for that. The rings pair nicely with some plastic sleeves which you can put anything you might need into including regional or unpublished strip charts.The clipboard stays in when in use and is per study writing platform, however it does tend to slip out of the cloth when you don’t have it strapped to your leg. Not too bad a problem but can be annoying when hopping in the cockpit.Overall you really just can’t complain too much because it works really great and is a bargain.

It sits tight on the leg but I felt a bit clumsy with it and the sheets are almost impossible to use while flying.For organizing it all at the same place and taking things off while flying without doing a lot of maneuvers and things then I guess it could have a good use.

Everything looked great then a few days later, I went to put pens in it and the stitching came loose instantly. It's still able to hold pens but make sure to check everything before throwing away the original packaging! I'm keeping it since last time I returned an item (unrelated to this item), the item was lost in transit and I was charged again for it. Overall the quality is great and I can't wait to use it for flights!!

I cannot say anything that I like about this. I bought it because I wanted a pocket for my phone in the knee board, but did not want to spend much. The design makes no sense. I had to completely rework the entire thing to make it somewhat usable. My photo is after my shoddy rework. There is scratchy Velcro that does not connect to anything rubbing right on your leg. I removed it. There is a clear strap that doesn't hold anything across the top. It's right in the way of writing, which is the entire purpose of the board. I shortened it and made it into a strap that holds the pocket closed. The board is not connected at all. If it is put on back and held by the clip, you have to write with a rough fabric behind the paper. If it's put on top, the board is not connected in any way- unless you use the loose plastic strap that is in the way of writing. The rings are not needed for any maps or charts that I have used as of yet. Nothing makes any sense. I thought that I could make a few changes and make it work, but kept finding one problem after another. It was too late to return it once I started making adjustments, so I kept it and made it somewhat usable. Learn from my mistake and keep looking for something better.

I agree with the other buyers the original was pretty good but theis new version is made very cheaply . There is no slot for the clipboard which completely defeats the purpose. It definitely won't hold an Ipad and the cellphone slot is to small for my Samsung S22 phone.

Well at first I wasn't sure I would like this or not, but I have to say my only complaint is my dry erase marker falls through the pen holder. But since it wasn't designed for a dry erase marker How can I complain. This works great and I would recommend this to anyone that needs a good kneeboard for flying.

Works good for my usage getting my private pilots small cockpit no room to sit anything ideal for clipping charts and taking notes

Works great but I no longer use vertical ink pen holders after noticing my seat had ink all over from how the pen is mounted. I know use one of those spring clips on the left part where binder was. Took binder out.
