CNC Aluminum Alloy Housing Sport Camera Shell Box Frame Mount Prevent Overheating Case for GoPro Hero 5 Session/Hero 4 Session(Black)

Housing is top grade quality and build. Only thing is the hinge is slightly too narrow, requires some forcing into the GoPro tripod/handle grip to screw into the mount. Otherwise it’s a great product. I feel more confident if this falls it won’t snap like the plastic GoPro housing.

It's a solid piece for a decent price. The original plastic casing is just too flimsy for my purposes and cracked over time. There is a weight penalty, but it's worth it. It rattled a little bit in the case, so I shimmed it some pieces of rubberband and it's been great.

Happy with the Alloy Housing, good quality. If I’m going to pick a bad thing, was the machining for one of the bolt, but fixed it at the shop. Good product 👌

the frame itself is sturdy aluminum but the rear cover is poorly designed and requires three tiny (different sized) screws, the top one of which stripped instantly when assembling it, making the whole thing useless. a poorly considered design.

This housing with a mount work Flawlessly when mounted on my RC cars.

It doesn't get any more secure than this. The only complaint I have is that the frontal framing could stick out a bit more to protect the lens.

The plastics snap very easy in 30 degree weather thus holds up very well. Also great in the summer.

Well constructed. It adds a little bit of weight but the camera is well protected. As you can see in the video, the camera rattles, so if you’re going to any type of impact activity it will be recorded. They sent me the wrong hex key, the tiny screws are 1.5 mm and they sent me a 2 mm key. Fortunately I had a set and was able to use it. They sent a couple of screws extra in case you lose any. Screen, record button and side door are all accessible.
