Works almost too well on men’s brows
I like to keep my eyebrows looking neat and untamed, so I decided to try these out. I am a 40-year-old man with thick, dark eyebrows, and let me just say that these razors absolutely get the job done. In fact, they are so sharp that before I knew it, I had taken way too much hair off my brows! Be careful when using these because they will slice through thick hair within seconds. My brows still ended up looking pretty good even though I took off more than originally intended. They looked sleek, they looked cared for, they no longer looked like a cave man. The only thing I didn’t like was the little micro-cuts I got around my eyebrow area. The skin there is super sensitive, so despite how careful I was, I still got a few nicks. The razors work exactly as they are intended to, but because my skin is just too sensitive and thin in that area, I personally wouldn't use them for my eyebrows again. However, they are still a wonderful product and will likely work perfectly for others with less sensitive skin.

Surprisingly useful but not perfect
I bought this face razor on a whim, and honestly, it works better than I expected. It glides smoothly and removes peach fuzz without irritating my skin most of the time. I like how lightweight and easy it is to control, especially around tricky areas. However, the blades dull quicker than I hoped, and I did notice a couple of minor nicks when I rushed. It’s not a miracle tool, but it’s definitely handy for quick touch ups. Overall, I’m happy with it, just wish it lasted longer. Still, I would buy it again.

Hairy girls, listen up!
Ok let me start this review by saying I am a VERY hairy girl. LOL to put it in perspective for whoever is reading this... my peach fuzz is black... I have black thick hair on my cheeks/face and side burns that connect to the peach fuzz on my face, sexy right. My eyebrows are black and thick as well and I do not tint or color them. Hair removal has always been a pain for me ever since I was young and I used to get made fun of A LOT, now I get compliments on how thick my hair/eyebrows are blah blah blah... anyways... as I got older I started experimenting with make up I noticed it didn’t lay down as nicely on my face because of my facial hair. This was what prompted me to find a way for effective hair removal. I’m also on the go... don’t want a super complicated or time consuming routine... But as time went on I noticed this was hard... I tried everything EVERYTHING . Including buying my own wax, melting it... I bought the little electric battery operated thingy that they sell for like 15-20 dollars and it didn’t remove anything... I even shaved my face (do not recommend) and lastly I purchased facial razors of all kinds (you know the ones you find for cheap at TJmax or the store). I found those to not be very sharp for my thick hair. THESE razors are sharp and easy to use. The glide down my face, no irritation, easy and quick hair removal. I use them at least 3 times a week or whenever I see unwanted hair. The 3 pack last me about a two weeks bec I don’t like to use one for too long. This is also sharp enough to shave off your side burns... again super attractive. I cannot live without this product, I don’t recommend this for the bottom of eyebrows just the top and forehead clean up, which I do and it’s wonderful that and all over face including upper lip/chin. When removing hair it also acts like an exfoliator removing dead skin cells as well. Anyhow this review was not the easiest for me but I hope a hairy girl out these is reading this and it helps them out. I will be eventually getting laser hair removal but this does the job until it is possible.

Works for peach fuzz and quick touch-ups, but glides better with lotion or oil
I purchased these Schick Hydro Silk Touch-Up dermaplaning razors for peach fuzz removal and small facial touch-ups. Overall, I do like them and they work, but they can feel a little rough when used completely dry. For me, they glide more smoothly with a little lotion, oil, shaving cream, or light moisture. What I like: • Good for peach fuzz removal • Helpful for quick facial touch-ups • Comes in a 3-pack • Each razor comes with a regular protective cover • Also comes with a precision cover for smaller areas • Precision cover is especially handy around areas like between the eyebrows • Helps prevent shaving areas you do not mean to, like part of an eyebrow • Nice for eyebrow area touch-ups when used carefully • Compact size makes them easy to keep in a purse or travel bag • Great for travel because the covers help keep the razor protected • Easy to throw in a purse for quick fixes • I keep this style of razor in my purse at all times • Helpful if I notice a missed spot shaving my legs while I am out • Also handy for quick facial hair touch-ups when bright daylight makes missed hairs more noticeable • Blade is sharp enough that you do not need much pressure • Skin feels smoother after using • Makeup seems to apply more evenly afterward • Helps remove dry surface skin and fine facial hair • Protective caps are nice for safer storage • Good basic dermaplaning tool if you use it gently Things to be aware of: • They can feel a little rougher on completely dry skin • I recommend using a little oil, lotion, shaving cream, or light moisture if your skin is sensitive • Go slowly and use very gentle pressure • Pulling the skin slightly tight helps the blade move more evenly • I usually glide downward in the direction of hair growth • For me, moisturizing afterward is important • I would avoid putting makeup on right away and give the skin a little time to calm down • Do not leave the blade wet or sitting in the shower • I wipe mine dry and clean it between uses to help keep it sanitary • How many uses you get from each blade will depend on your skin, hair, and how large of an area you use it on Overall: These Schick Hydro Silk dermaplaning tools work well for peach fuzz removal, small facial touch-ups, and quick fixes on the go. I really like that each razor has a regular cover plus a precision cover, because that makes them more useful for smaller areas like between the eyebrows and safer to keep in a purse or travel bag. They can feel a little rough on completely dry skin, so I prefer using a little lotion or oil to help them glide more comfortably. I took off one star for that, but they are still handy, compact, and useful enough that I like keeping one with me.

Sharp and Effective!
This dermaplaning tool is very sharp and very effective. I used it on the peach fuzz on my face, my eyebrows and my arm hair and it clears it right out. Keep it at an angle and you'll be fine. I keep one at home and one in my purse. I would recommend this to anyone who is thinking about trying it for the first time.

The best ones out there
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been using the Schick Hydro Silk Touch-Up for over a decade, and it’s still the best dermaplaning tool I’ve found for the value and price. It’s easy to use, gentle on my skin, and does a great job removing peach fuzz while helping my makeup apply more smoothly. I used to buy these in stores, but I recently found them on Amazon and they’re even more affordable here. Definitely a beauty essential that I always keep on hand!

HIGHLY recommended for ladies with PCOS/hirsutism!
Pros: Cheap, close shave with minimal stubble, not overly irritating to the skin, no facial redness, works well to “spot correct” missed shaving spots Cons: Still a shave (not full hair removal from the root like a wax), some stubble, doesn’t last as long as a wax All right, ladies! Let’s talk about female facial hair. I’m not talking about cute, little peach fuzz. I’m talking dark, coarse, pubescent-teenage-boy-beard hair. But on a 20-something-year-old woman. As someone diagnosed with PCOS, part of the way my symptoms manifest is through hirsutism, or thick, dark hair on my face and neck. Prior to quarantine, I scheduled regular full face waxes every 3 weeks. (I really probably could have done them more frequently, but I’m not made of money...) If I let it go any longer than that, the beard and mustache got embarrassingly ridiculous. (For those of you ladies who can rock the natural look, you’re my heroes! I am not that secure in my femininity.) Flash forward to everything closing in quarantine. Without the option to get a wax but the necessity of showing my face in video calls, I ordered these facial trimmers, and I am IN LOVE. I can get an incredibly close shave (that feels almost as smooth as after a wax) for a FRACTION of the price. Plus, I can shave on my own time as often as needed, without having to schedule a wax somewhere else. I do need to do a trim every few days, but it’s super quick and easy to maintain! Some tips for using this product for bodacious, bearded ladies: - Shave in the shower. I don’t use a mirror, but I find shaving under running water helps speed the process and reduce irritation. I tried shaving dry once, and it hurt. If you miss a spot, you can always wet a small area at the sink and correct later! - Shave in all directions. Up, down, across. I find this helps get that smooth, almost post-wax feel. You will still have some stubble (it’s a razor, duh), but it can be super minimal. Be sure to be gentle with your strokes, though; it is a blade on your face. - Aftercare. After my shower, I dab the shaved areas with Witch Hazel on a cotton pad, and then I apply an unscented post-shave balm (designed for men’s faces, so I assume it’s good for mine). I wait a little while and then continue my skincare/makeup routine as normal. Remember that shaving your face physically exfoliates the skin in addition to removing hair, so care for your skin accordingly. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin, but this product hasn’t caused irritation for me. (Other than the time I shaved dry. Just don’t do it.) Finding these trimmers has literally saved me around $100/month. I was skeptical that shaving my face would work anywhere near as well as a wax, but I’m glad I was forced to prove myself wrong. I usually use my trimmer 2-3 times a week and replace it every 4th or 5th use. Store it in a clean, dry place (i.e., NOT on the side of your tub/shower) to prevent bacteria buildup. The packaging recommends these for eyebrow trimming, but I don’t trust myself not to shave off half my eyebrow accidentally. I will definitely be getting a brow wax once things reopen; I’m leaving that to the professionals. I may still get a full face wax every once in a while, but this product helps me maintain a smooth face for a fraction of the cost, plus I don’t have any post-wax redness/irritation. I also use one of these to “spot correct” any spots I miss when shaving my legs, etc. I just dampen the area with water and use the trimmer, and it works great! Be careful on the back of your knees, though; the one time I cut myself was trimming a spot I missed on the back of my knee. TL;DR: I highly recommend this for women dealing with PCOS/hirsutism. It won’t last as long as a wax, but you can get almost as smooth of a removal for a price you can’t beat!

Good.... if you're really careful
Some of the user reviews are a little off on this product but kinda hit the right point(s) in that this product's blades are much too sharp, but if you're cutting yourself you're likely using the product in the wrong way, which is expected if you've never used a similar product. I will say, they have no right being that sharp, but then again, they do a great job in a few different areas including (but not limited to) taking off side burns and getting hairs that are in hard to reach spots. They do a great job with eyebrows specifically, that's probably what I'd use them for, but they can be used for other parts of your face if you're extremely careful. Oil might help mitigate some of the issues you'll experience, though, but I'll say to use this product in front of the mirror where you can see what you're doing, and go extremely slowly when you're shaving. You should NEVER go fast with this product, it doesn't seem like safety of user was the first thing in mind when it was being made. It's not the worst thing I've ever used, but if you're cutting yourself, it's most likely on you not understanding the product, but that's kind of expected when trying to use something new.. I'll just say, be careful and it'll work fine for most people that don't have super sensitive skin. Otherwise, maybe try sanitizing the product first if you're experiencing breakouts.
