Steady Spoon, 4.7 x 1.4 x 1.2 inches, white

We use it to counteract intention tremors and rate it a B+/A-! It's not perfect for chunkier soups, but pretty much perfect for everything else. Easy to clean and charge. Highly recommend it!

We hoped this would work for my hubby, who has severe essential tremor in both hands, but it made little difference at all, and certainly not near enough difference to justify the high cost. The reviews encouraged me to purchase this, but it apparently doesn't work for everyone. That is too bad, because it's a good idea. We sadly returned it. PROS: On the positive side, it was easy for him to hold and did not cause any awkwardness or embarrassment. He liked the looks of it. It is a handsome design. He had no difficulty learning to use it. The spoon and fork are dishwasher-safe. The packaging is lovely, clearly expensive, and protects the appliance very well. And it was easy to remove/attach the spoon and fork, once we got it out of the box. That, in itself, was an adventure. CONS: The spoon fits very tightly into the charging base and is not easily removed from it. Since the spoon has finely-tuned electronics, packaging is obviously important, but it seems that someone could have designed an easier-to-open box for their customer base. A person with a tremor or Parkinson's probably cannot open the box on his/her own at all. The box top fits over the bottom like a VERY tight glove. You might think that the logical first step to separate such a tightly fitted box top from box bottom is to shake the thing up and down to make the bottom slide out, but that is a really bad idea for electronics. It took both of us, his holding and my small fingers to pry the bottom from the top enough to get a hold on it. Pix show what you receive in the main package with a custom fitted space for each item as they are unpacked. It even has a nice thought-for-the day about your smile, which might come as a relief once you get the box open. The fork comes in a separate little fitted box, also difficult to manage with a tremor, and there is a large bib which he did not use. It arrived on time and in good order. If you order one, have a dexterous person available to open the box.

It is way to big to work - its size makes it awkward to use and you have to continually unplug and replug it in to get it to charge

The gyro helped my grandfather slightly, but the grip was too large and awkward for him to use. The grip also broke on the first usage of this item, which is more than problematic.

We bought this for an elderly man we know. He appreciates the gift but wants to give it back. The motion compensation action works, however the depth of the spoon makes it impractical to eat soup. The tangs of the fork are also not sharp enough to be useful in eating foods you would want to stab with a fork. The fork and soon are too much like baby utensils. I haven't seen any other utensil attachments available.

I bought the product for my friend mother that they live in South America, I have a lot of questions for the voltage differences and the charger, the vendor Manoo answered all my questions and send me pictures of what I need to see before to buy it. The product arrived on Sunday, and is incredible presentation. I am really recommend this product and this vendor.

The spoon is helpful, but it is expensive.

Just received in the mail, and VERY DISAPPOINTED! 😠 It comes with no wall charger! How exactly do they expect you to use this product without a charger for the unit? At the VERY LEAST they need to clearly state that you get the device only, but that the charger will have to be bought separately, and show you the correct one to buy!
