Kurgo Seatbelt Tether, Dog Safety Tether with Carabiner, Easy Installation, Universal Fit, Black/Grey

I bought the Kurgo seatbelt tether to go with the Kurgo harness. The tether is great and works with pretty much any harness, whereas the Kurgo harness has not been as useful. Appearance The tether looks as it does in the product photos. It is a simple loop and clip that attaches the seatbelt to the dog harness. Ease of use It is very simple to use and attach. It will attach to most harnesses and it is short, meaning that the dog remains close to the seat belt, which is important for safety and allows the seat belt to take up any strain from sudden braking of the car. Durability I have had this a number of months and I have no concerns about it's durability. Admittedly, it is not used very often, but I cannot see whey it would not stand up to daily use. Compatibility As mentioned, I believe this will work with any combination of dog harness and car seat belt. I don't believe you need to buy a Kurgo harness. The Kurgo harness I bought is very fiddly to fit and it has been replaced with something much easier to use. Conclusion While I do not recommend the Kurgo harness, this simple tether does exactly what is needed.

Liked it on the kurgo heather car seat, unfortunately that was too small for my 10kg dog, so I got a cushion style seat so she can lie down in the car and this clip so she is safely restrained to three actual car seat belt. Very easy to fit and doesn't move about.

Got this to go with the zip line to keep my dog more secure in the boot and it works well as it's a good length as she is still able to move about without getting twisted up or being restricted while staying safe.

Brilliant! Very secure and gives the benefit of using the seat belt for a degree of movement with the knowledge that in the event of a crash the seat belt will lock. Clips easily to a padded harness.

I bought this one for my car, but was out when it turned up so the wife snaffled it and put it in her car. I’m left with the old one she had, which is nowhere near as good. This one has a nice carabiner type fitting which is really easy to clip on to the dogs harness, and easy to take off too. All in all a worthwhile purchase.

Having a small car most safety belts allowed my dog to still get through to the front. This is very short & strong does the job perfectly

Clips is slightly bulky but only a very minor issue apart from that it is well made and doesn’t seem to bother my dog at all.

I walk my dog (Jack Russell) with a harness on - generally stops him pulling too much. This car tether makes it so much easier to take him anywhere - I simply leave it clipped to the seatbelt and just clip it to his harness when he’s in the car. Brilliant!
