I bought it as a bit of a vanity item really to set off my new white bathroom with its odd splashes of blue! This is a nice shade of light blue and it sits very happily on the soap dish attachment on my shower!

This Meridiana oblong sponge has one smooth side and one textured side for gentle exfoliation. It’s light, easy to grip, and soft once wet. Great for everyday cleansing and a mild scrub to freshen the skin. The size is just right — not too big, not too small — and it dries quickly after use. No weird smells or rough spots. Minor point: It’s not rough enough if you’re looking for deep exfoliation — more suitable for gentle daily use. ✅ Would I buy it again? Yes — gentle, functional, and good value.

It is not often that one is invited to write a review for such a sophisticated and prestigious item of personal health care but I feel a public duty prevails upon me to do it justice. Boots and most other stores now don't seem to stock sponges like this - once the staple of every bath and shower experience. Now they only seem to do 'natural' sponges, but who wants to wash themselves down with a dead sea animal? I am not a flannel man, I am a sponge man, so thank God for Amazon! Not only does this sponge come in different colours to allow differentiation between 'his' and 'her's' and the baby's, it is a convenient size too - have you ever tried washing with a car wash sponge? They are huge! Unlike flannels, sponges allow you the luxury of squeezing the warm water satisfyingly out over your head in a nice hot bath. In the shower they hold soap and water beautifully, allowing you to apply the soap with a slightly moist sponge before washing it off with a laden one. They also have a satisfying exfoliationary element. My body is my temple and deserves the best in care - you wouldn't put a Michaelangelo through a car wash now, would you? Update: I ordered some more in October 2013. They cost (with postage) £4 each! Somehow, I got the impression (from the picture) that it was a pack of three. I recommend ordering a 7 pack of the Coral bath sponges. Much cheaper and just as good. I hate being diddled.

This sponge is so soft and the colour is a lovely blue. I recommend this for children because its a nice size and so soft.
