No expiration date but will last forever if you put it in a air tight container. I transfer mine to plastic containers and it keeps for many many months. Altho it comes from China, it is extremely nice millet and I have not had any problems with it at all.

Where is this millet grown?

I'm not really sure but it is very good quality and it's fresh. The millet is large and my parrots and parakeets absolutely love it. I've bought this brand several times and have never been disappointed I will continue to buy it in my future purchases.
