Wow—this is such a great activity kit to do with a toddler. My child had so much fun with it, and I love that it’s not just entertaining, it’s educational too. It really encourages curiosity, learning, and problem-solving in a fun way. We usually do the activities outside because it can get pretty messy. The food coloring can get everywhere and may take some effort to clean, so just be prepared for that. Honestly though, that small inconvenience is nothing compared to how much fun it brings. There are so many experiments and activities included—around 100 different options—so you can easily choose based on what your child enjoys most. We started with the color-mixing section, making new colors, and my almost 3-year-old loved it. It felt very age-appropriate and easy for him to enjoy. We also tried one activity from the texture section, which wasn’t his favorite, but that’s more about personal preference. He enjoys the “wow” factor and seeing reactions happen, while other kids may love sensory activities more. The variety is great because there’s something for different personalities and interests. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and overall the quality is good. The only thing to note is that some of the plastic tools aren’t the most durable, especially if your child plays rough. But you can easily substitute with cups or bowls you already have at home. Overall, I definitely recommend it—fun, educational, and a great way to spend time together.

The kit looks really fun, and the activities seem easy to follow and great for toddlers. However, when I opened the box, baking soda and cornstarch had leaked everywhere, so everything inside was covered in powder. That was disappointing, especially for a $30 kit. Thankfully, I already have those supplies at home, so we’ll still be able to do the experiments. I’m still excited to try everything with my toddler — I just wish a little more care had gone into the packaging.

My child was awestruck while doing the experiments....the instructions were easy to follow and kept my child busy for an hour or two.
