Disposable Duckbill Mask, 3 Layer Construction, Pouch Style w/Ties, Blue, 48220 (Box of 50)

This is a very good quality mask and used probably in medical settings. It states 3 layers but feels thin to me compared to their N95 duckbill style masks they also produce. This mask, I don’t trust it for wearing against contracting viruses as this feels thin. Its mainly used so the person wearing it talks and doesn't spill germs outward onto others. I use it for working in dusty areas in my garage where my allergies would kick up if I did not wear a mask. I love that it has the double tie, one at top of head and one tie near back of neck. That way I can keep the neck one on and lower my top tie when I want to uncover my face. Its double tie, not double strap and is NOT a N95 mask. If you are sick or don't want to spill your germs on others, this is a great mask. Its comfortable, durable, and easy to breathe and talk since its a duckbill design. Overall, a mask is better than having no mask. But if you were to buy masks and want high quality, get Halyard brand. Its the Mercedes Benz of masks. Halyard masks are high quality and used in the medical field so I feel confident using them. I’m very happy about the design as it seals entirely 360 on the face. It fits well as there is a nose piece that is flexible you pinch to fit your nose area. Breathing, you’ll still smell through it though. Any scent in a store you’d smell it. Material wise compared to N95 duckbill style made by Halyard, this is slightly more coarse against my face skin. Halyard masks come in a box and is not sealed. I’ve purchased for several years and wish they were sealed in clear plastic or wrapped box somehow. If you open the box (a standard flap with no seal), you can touch the masks, so a germaphobe may be not happy for this. I hadn't had an issue with cleanliness of the masks. Brand new and clean.

Comfortable and slightly larger than the green model. The duck shape keeps the paper out of my mouth. I have been wearing these every day in the OR for 25 years or so. The classic and still the best.

Ordered product twice and both times they have been expired .

Quite a pain to put on and single-use, so put one of those on only if you'll wear it nonstop for half a day or more. Very good filtration.

I travel to different hospitals and many do not carry this particular mask, this has been the mask all of my career that has worked best for me it allows me to move my lips freely, not smear my lipstick so much, and it also allows me to breathe more easily without a mask being pressed against my face for hours at a time.

Very comfortable. Came across them while working in the OR. Can wear long periods of time. It doesn't feel like you are eating your mask.
