I zigzagged the edges before putting fabric on a cold wash. There was some leakage of the colour but not much... easily rectified by adding salt in the next wash to set the colour. Turquoise it certainly is even though it looks blue. I checked other companies on blue fabric and none were this colour. As the company photo shows, this was exactly the colour I received. Vibrant and beautiful. I'm thinking of ordering more. It seemed heavier than the other PolyCotton fabric I've received of the same amount.
