Very happy with these!
Have purchased many of these for 3D printed projects. Have never had one fail. Easy to install with sound files. Several playback options. Inexpensive. Very happy with these!

Works well! Connected easy on my PC
I used these in some books where my dad read a kids book. All the grand kids can now follow along in the book and hear their grandpa read to them! I had no problem connecting this on my PC with the provided usb c cable. Sound is loud enough. At first it was too quiet but I used my editor to up the volume and made a new mp3 to upload onto this speaker.I love that you can recharge the battery via usb c

Important info here
If you take this little device and try to plug it into a newer computer that only has the newer usb ports, it's going to give you errors and popups that are going to make you think that your computer has been given a virus from them. I used multiple cords and tried every single one of the ports of my laptop and it was the same thing on each of them. However, after reading a review about the usb ports, I took this to the old computer that I let my kids use, and it has the old style usb ports. I plugged it in there and had zero issue at all, it worked fantastically and it was super easy to drag and drop my files into it.The bad reviews for this product are most definitely because of this issue. And while I would LOVE to give this product 5 stars, I can't because had I not had that old clunky computer, I would not have been able to use this. The makers need to fix something so that it will work on the new usb ports too, or at the very least warn people at the very top of the description of this product about the issue. That all said, once I got past that hurdle, this is easy to use, holds a lot of sound files, is thin and flexible and easy to charge, works great, has volume control, can be recorded both from a computer and just from voice, and it's really just all around what I wanted. The only thing that could make this better is if there was an option to randomize the sounds so that when you pressed the button it was a random pick of the sound files that are loaded instead of just cycling in order. If it had that option I would come back and buy 20 more of these.I do recommend this product, but be aware of the usb issue.

Just what I needed!
Works great! I use these to add soundtracks to my scale model dioramas. Multiple playback configurations and you can make your own recordings. Just be warned, it only works with MP3 files, so I had to convert some of my files from MP4 to MP3 (easy to do.)

Doesn't do what is says it will.
Believe me when I tell you that this unit will ONLY let you record a clip using the condenser mic. You can put mp3s on the unit but it will NOT let you play them. The only thing that works is the condenser mic to add clips. I am disappointed that it won't play the mp3s because the sound quality would be great and also why I purchased this. ☹

Fun product that worked well.
This was really fun! We were able to record 4 songs on this. The tech was not that difficult, though I have to admit I had someone help me to be sure I did it correctly. I wish it came with some sort of casing to protect the components and where you could still adjust the volume and push the start button.

works exactly as advertised
It came with a single double-sided printed page of instructions. while that was not exactly impressive, it did the job. You are left guessing a bit at some functions. The USB-C interface is a snug fit.. with a delicate device it is a bit anxiety-inducing when removing the USB-C cable. Things to know:- the config.txt file has one line "IO=1" and it can be 1 to 6. Copy and paste the next part into a readme for yourself for your own reference... the language is mostly theirs, not mine..IO=01 pulse repeatable - key can interrupt - press to play, while playing, press again for next songIO=02 pulse not repeatable - key cannot interrupt - press it to play, in the process of playing - invalid if you press it againIO=03 level remains recyclable 1 - keep loop playing press and release to stop immediatelyIO=04 level remains recyclable 2 - if you press it all the time, it will play in a loop, once it is released the current music will stop playingIO=05 play/pause - press to play, press to pause, press to continueIO=06 play/stop - press to play, press to stop-There is a folder for the music.. that's where you drop the MP3 files you want it to play. It uses alpha-order when you have multiple files for teh modes that will play one file and move to the next...- it comes with one MP3 snipped in that folder and one in the root folder. I don't think it plays from the root folder at all.-The file transfer is a little slow..and it has 16MB of storage or so. I dropped in about 14MB of MP3 files and it nearly filled it... but that was 9 Christmas tunes to go with a snow globe.-I will need rubber feet to lift the snowglobe up to fit this device beneath it. and will likely need some way to attach it to the base, perhaps exposing the power switch and button.. but will likely have to remove it to charge it via the USB-C.-I tested the device on its anti-static packaging and I thought I have a bad device as the speaker sounded torn or cracked.. but when I moved it to a solid surface it was fine.-My PC gave some kind of error when I plugged it in but I just ignored it. I had it in a USB3 port and its best to use in a USB2 port.-Interestingly, when plugged in, it acts like the PC's speaker.. playing media played on the speaker.-I have not figured out if I can just leave it turned on (there is a slide-switch for on/off) and use it to play or restart.. don't know how long it will last ON and not playing. IO=0 mode (which is default) allows you to switch between songs using the button.. but doesn't seem to allow you to turn it off.. so I had to use the switch for that (EDIT: Have had it "on" for months.. playing only if somoen presses button.. barely gets played but battery has not drained so much that it will not play)- the volume button is one of those cycling settings.. that is you click it to raise volume to next level and it cycles back to low volume setting eventually. level 2 is my preferred setting.Overall I found it a good device 2-pack. Would buy again should need arise. Craftier folk can probably make great use of this.
