Has anyone else had problems with this item???  I love it, but I keep having to purchase a new one every couple months because it breaks or leaks!

We've tried both the different configurations of soap reservoir handles, the one you fill by pulling the button out to fill it,and the one that is filled by unscrewing the end of the handle, and neither of them have lasted very long, not in the last couple of years anyway. The one with the button/plug leaks after a very short time because it no longer makes a seal with the handle, or the internal mechanism which opens the plug to the brush or sponge breaks off. The one that is filled through the end of the handle, the rubber of the button wears through where it connects with the handle. It seems that in the past they lasted longer than they do now, but I don't have any documentation in evidence of that. However, now I'm just no longer willing to pay the money for a brush/sponge handle (and the requisite sponges and brushes) when I'm having to replace them 3 or 4 times a year. OXO should really pay closer attention to the build quality, at some point no one is going to want to spend $80/year for brush handles on and ongoing basis. I kind of thought the point was once we liked the handle they had us hooked, buying the brushes and sponges for the rest of our natural, but now I'm replacing one almost as often as the other. I think I can do better, or at least cheaper.

Yes, there has a useful scraper to remove dirt from hard for my personal experience

Would the scotch-brite sponge attachments fit on this? the oxo brand sponge attachments look the same as the scotch-brite.

For some reason the sponges don't fit the OXO the soup holder any longer. A real waste.

Does this brush come with the stand?

I do know what stand you are referencing.  It allows for the brush to stand and dry and any water will drip down into the base and out a hole in the base into the sink.  It is very helpful IMO.  If this does not have one I recommended it.
