Great bit of kit but unfortunately it didnt reach to the top of my chimney stack but thats an error on my part could of done with 30ft of rods to get all the way to the top. Otherwise brilliant product and cleaned my chimney extremely well

What an absolutely excellent product, I had to service our solid fuel Rayburn in prep for the winter, which included an intermediate sweep of the flue, The kit comes with everything needed to do the job properly, even some tape to tape the rod joints to add extra security, I used my 18v cordless drill, it struggled a bit due to the tight angle of entry into the flue but wow, the amount of soot and clinker like material removed was very impressive, a good half bucket full, plenty of rods to reach the chimney pot and a good bag to put all of the sooty tools back into, the hand brush that is included was perfect for cleaning the galleries etc. Worth noting that after the sweep we can’t get the Rayburn below 250f even with all of the dampers closed it’s working so efficiently. Cracking product, highly recommended

this worked quite well removing loose debris twigs etc from an old open fireplace chimney. However its too lightweight and flexible to tackle a birdnest. I didnt use the brush which is pretty lightweight. The tape was handy for strapping a knife onto the end to help break up the debris.

After a vist from the BRAVE lads from Kent Fire & Rescue on Boxing day to put out the chimney fire (no REALLY) I thought I would try and find a chimney sweep, no such luck, so I thought I would purchase this kit and give it a go myself, well.....I am REALLY pleased I did. It only went to show that the sweep we had just before Christmas last year, did not do a great job. The kit managed to clear a HUGE dustbin bag full of clinker etc from the chimney. I was amazed exactly how much came out. My only slight criticism is that the rods could do with perhaps 4 more, as I had to connect two much longer rods from my electrical wiring rod kit to get the brush out the chimney stack. Other than that, it was totally perfect, more than capable, and with the aid of the electric drill on the end, dislodged so much clinker from the chimney stack. As normal, an excellent delivery service from Amazon!

Not fit for purpose. Description says that the 6” kit is for a 6” flue. The brush that comes with it is 5.75”. It’s not large enough to make contact with the edges of the flue evenly. This is a dangerous product and miss sold. It’s also under 7m long, shorter than the flue length

Used it for the first time yesterday. Cleaned my woodburner pipe really well. Very easy to use and compact to store. Good quality.

Cleans my 5" wood stove flue well. Rods were secure. Didn't quite reach the top of my straight chimney (2-storey terrace), but rod flexibility probably means that it is not worth looking for some more. Great value for an annual clean. Both 6" brushes are the same, so you have a spare!

The head remained in the pipe of my pellet stove. 1000€ to remove it. They had to replace part of the pipes and brake the walls. Be careful the head can unscrew easily and stuck inside the chimney. Do not use driller as advertised.
