This is the iconic backdrop used by professional ceramicists in the field… photos look professional and artwork is immediately elevated…….. BUT the gradient scratches if moving items carelessly, so if you want it to last longer, either add silicone adhesive dots below your artwork OR lift you item to move it around instead of dragging it into position.

I was expecting it to scratch easier. If you can take care of a photography lens, you can take care of this. I wouldn't drag anything over it, but it doesn't scratch THAT easily.If you want a matte, non reflective piece of paper you need to realize that some care must be taken with it. From a professional photography standpoint, this is a good product.If you're a hobbiest and have no clue how to handle things or if you are photographing something like puppies, yes it will scratch..

Great effect but it needs to be treated with kid gloves. The flat finish will scratch very easily. Keep it stored in a flat portfolio case. Rolling it up after each use is not advised. I use it for photographing my woodworking.
