so far works very good has good power, good brand, also has a storage part for the beaters, which is very nice to keep all parts together, very good value, I recommend it

I bought this mixer to replace a Hamilton Beach hand mixer that I had for about 30 years which finally quit working. This one gets the job done, but it is much heavier than the one I previously had. In fact, it's too heavy. My arm was quite tired by the time I finished mixing mashed potatoes which only takes 2-3 minutes. I have only used it once but cannot see myself using it very often due to its weight.

Great little everyday hand mixer! Works well on cookie dough.

I returned another (more expensive) model of Hamilton Beach hand mixer because the lowest speed was so fast that the ingredients I was mixing splattered all over. I purchased this one because of the "stir" feature. Even with the "stir" feature, it's also too fast and I have the same issues with ingredients splattering all over. Additionally, as a left handed person, having the cord extend from the right side of the mixer makes the cord drag over my bowl when I'm using the mixer. I didn't return this mixer because it seems like all hand mixers have issues with splattering, and as usual, engineers do not consider left handedness when designing products. Having a hand mixer does make baking a lot easier than hand mixing ingredients. This mixer seems to be sturdy and hasn't had any issues with the motor slowing during normal usage. The price was reasonable and I also like the black color. Another plus is that inserting and removing beaters is much easier than with the previous model I had.

While I haven't actually used it yet, I did insert the beaters and turn it on. I bought it mainly because I liked the idea of the stir feature but I think it's a little bit faster that it should be and could still throw powdery items around so make sure the beaters are well down into the bottom of the bowl. Just an observation and not a complaint really.
