Holy purity, above all.

Consecrated virginity is even more biblically recommended than marriage. Seeing exemples of holy virginity coming from holy families is just beautiful and stunning. Two vocations, one destination. Macrina choose the best part, however, and this is why her wise brother praised her, without any sentimentalism. In times when consecrated chastity is so much bullied, Macrina, prudent virgin, must be rediscovered.
