These had an initial smell, but letting them sit outside for a few days resolved this. These were very clean, and are perfect for getting started with my garage gym. The built in grips are great, very comfortable and clean looking. I would definitely recommend these if the price is right (the price seems to fluctuate on this item). Note: I bought some additional weights which looked identical to this, pairs of 45 lbs plates, but those looked very rough on the edges. This set was very clean and looked new. So definitely good quality here.

Very durable size and weight plates are accurate. Great fit and finish. Great for at home workout. I use them for various exercises.

I purchased this set of weight plates a few days ago, even though they weren’t part of the Black Friday deal. I was drawn to them because they were reasonably priced. While I’ve read reviews on Amazon that focus on the appearance and scent of the plates, those weren’t my primary concerns when choosing weight plates. My top priorities were fitment to my Olympic-size dumbbells and barbells, ease of storage, and the rubber coating to reduce noise and protect my cement floor. The plates arrived today, and I appreciate the young female delivery person who brought them to my doorstep. Despite their total weight of about 35lbs, they were surprisingly heavy considering their packaging in a square shipping box. These weights are practical and won’t win any beauty contests, but that’s precisely why they were designed. They fit perfectly into my Olympic-size dumbbell sets and barbell. While they may not be the visually appealing weight plates you’ll find at Gold’s Gym, they certainly perform the same function. Having trained people, including athletes, for nearly two decades in Southern California, I can confidently say that these weights are as functional and effective as the urethane-coated plates you’ll find at Gold’s Gym. I highly recommend these weight plates.

The weight set is perfect. The smell is horrible. You’re gonna have to wash these things by hand with open water or let them sit out for three weeks outside and still they won’t smell unless you wash them by hand the offgassing from whatever chemical they use in the rubber is atrocious as far as the weights themselves they’re great quality. It’s just smell that it’s awful. It does go away, but Jesus Christ has to do a lot to make it go away what I buy it again no I would go with steel plates, not rubber coated plates.

So far so good. I mean it's straight forward just weights...good material and sturdy so far.

It does the job

Bought via Amazon 2nd chance and although originally not happy the customer service sorted things out so that it was very reasonable. Overall, very good value and work well.

Weight is accurate and fit on barbell is good so I'm happy.
