**Q: is this weather proof?**
A: this lock is for in-door use

**Q: How is the current broken for release?  Button? Keypad?   I don’t see a control device in the pics.**
A: In order to use this mag lock you would need some sort of opener or closure device for example like I relay switch to control the mag lock device one example is like a motorized operator You install it to a access control that allows it to open and that will unlock the maglock

**Q: Can this be feed off the control panel power or does it need another power source?**
A: use the power supply which is used to power the control panel.
