Works great..... Weak instructions
I got this maglock working great after struggling with pretty weak installation instructions. I wasn't keen on the unjacketed, thin wires that came wired to the internal terminals. Needing wires longer than 6" for my installation, I rewired using a jacketed cable. TIP!!! Get those arbor plates lined up perfectly.... and don't over-tighten the central fastener.

Weak, easy to force open, the weakest maglock I have EVER installed!
I read another review that questioned the strength of this 600 lb lock. I should have paid attention. I thought this guy just doesn't know how to install a mag lock. I have installed going on a hundred mag locks and have never had one fail so miserably. When you read this review PAY ATTENTION. YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY.

It works but doesnt come with everything needed for it
It doesnt come with any wires

Very strong
Uses very little power, yet has a very strong hold on the metal bar that it comes with. Using for a project and not a door... But if this was used on a door it would not open once the magnet is powered up.
