**Q: Can this be used in a cafetiere, thanks**
A: No, this is espresso. It's too fine for cafetieres.

**Q: Can i use this in a cafetiere?**
A: YES, I make this in a cafetiere everyday. It is NOT expresso coffee, which is a coarser grind, it is specifically ground finer for filtration methods. Yummy!

**Q: What is filter coffee? I just want coffee you can make by pouring hot water into it from the kettle**
A: Illy coffee is not instant coffee. You need to filter or push aside the coffee once the coffee has been in contact with the water for a few minutes (3 or 4 mins ideally). All the usual methods work well.  I generally use a coffee press (usually called a cafetiere in the UK) but the coffee does not dissolve like instant coffee, so you need to avoid eating the grounds as that would not be pleasant.

**Q: Can this be used in a smeg espresso coffee machine?**
A: Yes, any method except capsule systems like Nespresso.

This coffee is so enjoyable and i drink it every morning. I also really like the packaging as I am able to re-use it for storage, art products, and several applications. I was dissapointed that my last order included jars without lids. not only did this mean my re-use options were limited but it also meant that once open I had to transfer the contents to a less appropriate container.
