Jship332 - 150Kg Platform Scale Ideal Shipping/Parcel Scales

Needed to keep a check on the weight of our dogs and these scales are a smaller version of the type our vet uses. The dogs, cocker spaniels, will sit quite happily on the scales to allow an accurate reading to be taken and, after four years of regular use, the scales still work perfectly and are on the original supplied batteries, although I should get around to replacing them soon I suppose. The stainless steel weighing area is easy to keep clean and the remote readout is much better than trying to read a bathroom scales. They've come in handy for checking our baggage weight is within the airline limits and I've even caught She Who Must Be Obeyed having a sneaky weigh when she thinks I'm not watching. Even weighed myself on them……..Bad idea, SWMBO's got me on a diet.

A Good set of portable scales and accurate. Very pleased with the product. Reasonably priced and very easy to use.

This product has a 20 year warranty. They have broken after 2 years. We have looked after them carefully. We asked the seller for a replacement and they told us to go to the manufacturer. The manufacturer are impossible to get any answers from - we have heard nothing despite numerous attempts. The seller's customer service is very poor and they're not interested in assisting to resolve this on our behalf or offering a replacement. We are going to have to throw these away now and buy some Salter ones (we've been very pleased with the other smaller scales we have bought from them). Very disappointing customer service and product.

I was looking for a good set of low cost scales that be used for weighing boxes prior to shipping. These have done the job perfectly, the screen can either be stuck or screwed to the wall and they are still working as good as new after a year of abuse in the warehouse.

dimensions on the advert are misleading

I was after a scale that could weigh light but bulky items accurately. I understood this to be the case with these scales but alas anything under half a kilo doesn't register and under 1 kilo is debatable and not trustworthy so I have to put an additional weight on so it will register but as soon as you are past the 1kg mark these scales are fab need very little space and can be moved easily enough just a shame about the small weights.
