Sony Mini DV Cleaning Cassette (Dry) dvm4cld2

I got out my old Sony VX2000 video camera to test it. I had black streaks on the recorded tape, both in the camera and the Sony playback deck. I order this tape and cleaned both the deck and camera. Basically pressed "play" for 10 seconds on both machines. Solved the problem. The old camera can still record and tapes play back without an issue.

This product is helping me to reclaim old home videos, and it is worth every penny. Thank you!

JVC camera has not been used in many years but was in like new condition. Would not play any videos and kept going into safe mode. I was unable to find any camera techs willing to look at it so I tried the cleaning tape as a last ditch effort. I ran the tape around 8 times (it automatically shuts off after about 10 seconds). After that, I tried another tape and it worked!

My camcorder wouldn’t play properly after sitting unused for many years. Ordered this in desperation and after several cycles of cleaning, it worked!!

Good price cleaned my mimi cam camera in 5 minutes.

It is not a cleaning cassette! Only has about 4 seconds worth of regular video tape trying to pass it as “cleaning”. Absolute lie from the seller.

Worked first time

Purchased this to clean the tape head of a MiniDV tape camcorder / player. These head cleaners are hard to find. I found this one from this supplier, the tape arrived on time and it did a great job in cleaning the tape head. I was able to play my MiniDV tapes with absolute clarity where previously they were playing with distortion.
