SUPER useful. Use just the right amount and hardly any clean up. The thing about WD-40 or even spray lubricants (which WD-40 technically isn't) is that they spray, which is not precise. In the very old days we had oil cans like in the Wizard of Oz. None of that works as well as the pen. I am so glad someone thought of these. It makes fixing small things around the house so much easier and less smelly. A creaky door lock or hinge, a small corroded joint on something old: the pen! No big small or mess. This may be a more perfect use of the pen design than the stain treatments or paint pens. Why did it take them so long to come up with this. I literally by them for other people. You don't know how good they are until you need them.

I have been a forklift mechanic for 30 years and have plenty of experience using wd-40. I saw these little guys and knew I had to have them. They do not have the smell issue encountered when using the spray cans. This is great for those “in the house” items. Work great on door hinges especially. Same quality as you get from the spray can, but pinpoint accuracy is the winner for m. Lube door hinges, drawer slides, even faucet handles. No overspray, no mess, no smell. Definitely a must have very every homes junk drawer.

So handy in the home. Puts just a dab where you need it. It is a felt tip pen applicator.

These are great. I purchased for my husband and sons to keep in their trucks. You never know when you’ll need some WD-40. Works well.

This was perfect for getting rid of the squeaky hinges on our bedroom door. I didn’t want to deal with the large can and figure I’d give the pen a try. It was just what was needed and worked perfectly. Took me about five minutes to do both hinges and the squeak was gone. No mess. No need to deal with the little straw on the spray can. And when I was done, the pen was small enough to toss in my kitchen drawer for the next time we need it.

I used to use 3 in 1 oil for noisy hinges etc. then I saw this, and read some reviews on Amazon so I decided to give it a try. Next day delivery, then I tried it on all of the noisy hinges at out cottage, I was blown away, this really works and the good news, no more noisy hinges! I would definitely recommend these to anyone having similar problems. I didn't even know that WD manufactured them ! Great investment, kept a couple at the cottage and one for the house ...

These pens are perfect for older homes with creaky doors that shift depending on the temperature outside. My newborns door would creak every time I shut it after spending a half hour rocking her to sleep. She would immediately wake up. Once I applied this to the door hinges, the problem went away!

Perfect addition to a tool tote pen slot. Easy access for dealing with sticky tools, fasteners, hardware etc. the price is a tad high for what it is, but you’re paying for convenience so it was worth it at the end of the day.
