Great sounding boat speakers
Fantastic high Fidelity speakers at a great price. My only complaint was that the holes in the side of my boat were about an eighth of an inch too small for these speakers. So it took me a long time to file away and enlarge my speaker hole. That probably was the fault of the boat manufacturer and not of the speakers. But it would’ve been nice. Had they been just a little bit an hour to accommodate different tolerances. But they look great and they sound great so I give them five stars.

Excellent speakers for my boat!
Excellent Speakers! I have a marine Pyle 400 watt amplifier (4x100). I'm not sure of the RMS but I'm sure it's not too high seeing this is a very inexpensive amplifier and not documented. Nevertheless these speaker are just what I wanted for my 20 foot boat. I got a .flac file and put my head unit to 75% volume while gain was set to 0 on the amp. I just eased the gain up until it started to break up and then backed the gain off a tad after that; easy peasy! You can't go wrong with these speakers, very heavy magnet, they produce good highs and lows for a 2-way speaker Oh and always use 16 gauge shielded wire to your speakers with clean secure connections

Excellent but be prepared!!
I did a set of 8" and a set of 6.5". I expected to cut fiberglass for the 8", but didn't expect to cut for the 6.5". Used a dremel pen grinder to cut the fiberglass to size. 8" came with a nice rubber gasket, 6.5" came with a 3M rubber gasket. Not 100% sure why they would be different. Thankfully the previous speakers had large spade terminals. Sound wise, they are very good! With the bass set to 4 of 6, it shakes the boat seats lol. Definitely a very nice combination of speakers at a very good price. These blow away kicker, pioneer, and are a very close second to JL audio. Definitely recovered from a 4 star for the install troubles, to a 5+ star for audio quality. Certainly better than I ever expected!! Running off of the stock JBL factory radio and they sound amazing. Can't wait to convert the system over to my BT 1500w marine amp and get it fine tuned! It can only get better!!! Highly recommend to any buyer, but expect minor size difference and slight modifications needed for install. 100% worth it!

Good crisp sound
Bought these to replace some speakers that were 15 years old in my boat. They sound great. Wish I got a better amplifier. Happy with the purchase

I was skeptical. Never used them. I read the reviews and said why not. The price is good. If I get a season out of the them. Awesome. I ordered 2. They were loud. But not loud enough. So I orderd 2 more. Now im jamming. I have no amp hooked up. They sound good and clear. Will buy again.

When a company makes opening their product an experience, you know they care about details. I installed them in relatively small custom boxes at the back of the boat. I paired them with a 50W x 2 amp and a powered deck delivering 22W per channel. WOW. I was blown away at the clarity and punch the bass delivers from these smaller speakers. I wont be buying an additional subwoofer. The above reviews were correct. Very glad I didn't opt for the $50 replacement speakers I was considering.

I installed the speakers on my side by side polaris ranger 2022 i had to cut out some plastic but it worked out ok.For the price they sound great also the base on those speakers are excellent i was impressed.

Just received 4 of these speakers. They look great! Everything came exactly as described included hardware and mounting templates. Can wait to install them in the boat this spring!

Could not install these speakers as I needed a shallow installation type speaker. They did appear to be a very robust speaker but I could not try them.
