I bought this welder to fix a pieces of furniture in my yard, I wasn't really sure what to expect but this thing worked great. Its nice to not have to drag around a big machine and also runs on 110v. For a beginner its really simple to setup and easy to get the settings dialed in. So far all my welds are holding up great, I highly recommend this product.

The instructions weren't really instructions, but it's nothing a little Google search won't help with. My only issue, is that the part that holds the rod is pretty cheap and decided it didn't want to sit still. I ended up eventually super gluing it so it didn't wobble while I was trying to use it. Other than that, it works at least. You definitely get what you pay for.

I got this as a gift for my husband and he has been not stop welding things. The mask that comes with it is not that great but the hand welder itself is pretty good. I didn't expect for it to work as well as it did. Make sure if you buy this get some extra welding rods too.

Sadly, I bought this thing back in February and didn't even try to use it until today. First time I tried to use it I found the power switch was no good. In fact, it wasn't even there. I had to take it completely apart to find the switch inside, and it's clear all of the switch parts aren't there. So, I have a power switch that doesn't work, and no option to return or get support. I've tried finding a replacement switch with no luck. So, I basically have a brick. 😞 Buyer beware - if you buy one of these, confirm it works as soon as you receive it!

I loved everything about it why portable it’s in a case it’s so easy and I always use safety and safety is important no matter what you’re doing in lightweight only 3.3 pounds welding machine at its best in portable form in a case RC handheld welder machine another great tool to add to your collection. When you need the weld something you think of it and do it and it’s over with right then and there that’s how easy it is way better than pulling out everything in a regular welding machine just to do one thing no way not me Iona welding machine it’s only 3.3 pounds and a handheld, portable ARC welder all in its own little case it’s just amazing I am so happy minor welding things to do around the house got it made got it tackled out.

Power switch went bad and started blowing house breaker. Before that it wended great. So gotta replace the switch to get it back up and running.

For the price this thing is really useful. Some notes: The amps shown on the welder should be considered relative and not an exact measurement. Know that the pistol grip style can make it harder to hold the stick steady. It would take a lot of practice to get a pretty weld unless maybe you are a professional. This thing is not intimidating for new hobby and home welding. I’ve fixed so many small things with it. My first weld fixed the side of my snowblower when the factory tax weld failed. My weld was ugly but it’s on there now for sure. ;).

I didn’t like the time that took to cycle or whatever is call when I had to wait between the times between points of power a few seconds but still irritating when I’m on a rush, I did like the grip it kept me from moving too much because my shaking from my condition.
