My Quaker is not fond of pellets anyway but our bigger birds (conure to macaw) like Roudybush fine. When we were trying to get my Quaker from seed to pellets, I tried lots of different sizes & varieties of pellets & the mini seemed best suited for his size of bird. **Q: What size pellet would you recommend for a love bird?** A: Copied from the Roudybush web page below: They recommend the smallest size the bird will eat, I use the "small" for my Amazon's to reduce waste and am happy with that. For a Love bird I'd try the mini or the crumbles. You can even get it in little half pound pouches to try what size your bird likes. Roudybush is an excellent feed without harmful additives and colors. My birds have been on it for over 12 years and are healthy and beautiful! I ran out a while back and bought some Petco stuff... they wouldn't touch it! So glad Amazon carries it!
