The units work initially but one failed in the first month followed by the second a month later the 3rd i haven't used yet. the fault starts by randomly loosing connection then stops working, the same on both failied units. The body of the adpater always runs hot even when not connected to a power supply or a monitor. The adaptors have been connected to my desktop and not had any strain or abuse and have been fed from a good quality PSU.
