This water softener really works. There is HARD water where I live and I do see a marked change in the clothes I wash. When I don’t have it, the clothes are not as clean no matter how much detergent(Tide) I use. I love it and won’t wash my clothes without it.

This stuff is great...great for doing your dishes, great for doing your laundry, and great for RV's holding tanks. If you know anything about soft water, you know that things get cleaner with soft water. And you don't need to use a whole bunch at once. And this stuff has a great smell to it.

This product takes hard water and turns it into soft! Clothes comes out cleaner, smelling better and soft after drying. The washer smell good after multiple washes too!

This product gives my laundry soap a bost while giving me softer clothes. I have not compared the cost to any other water softening product so cannot rate that aspect, but is a heckuvalot cheaper than buying a water softener system for the house.

I thought that it improved my laundry softness after a couple washes, but they were a little faded. My baby and toddler clothes ended up looking faded and some prints were cracked, even when using cold wash. So it works better on light clothes and color fasted laundry like my cloth diapers. There's really no scent since it's meant for sensitive skin, which I like.

The water in my area is extremely hard. Clothes came out of the washer with residue - particularly noticable on darks. I had been using Calhoun liquid in the rinse but it didn't consistently solve the problem. Since using Charlie's not only is the residue gone, but the clothes look cleaner and brighter. One thing I did discover is that if you have a HE washer you need to be very careful not to use the same amount of detergent that you would use in a conventional washer. This was also contributing to soap residue being left behind.

Good product. My laundry is no longer “crunchy” as my kids call it. Can’t use standard fabric softeners, because my family’s skin breaks out in a rash. This product doesn’t bother our skin at all.

Have used Charlie's Soap and Charlie's Booster, etc., to do laundry for many years now and still love their products. Would never go back to grocery store brands. LOVE Charlie's.
