Review: Good buy - Great light works well for security work Review: Works. - Put this on my Nissan Rogue hood and it didn't stick - disappointed in the magnet until I figured out that my hood is PLASTIC! Put it on my roof and it sticks fine. I love it for night driving, which I hate. It is especially good on country roads, where I can't see the side roads, street signs, driveways, and mailboxes ... until I turn this light on. This works. I also used one of the programable buttons on the rearview mirror for on and off; the programable button only turns it on and off, so I still need the fob to rotate the light. For driving, I leave it turned to the right to give me the best light for that side and use the fob only if I need to rotate it - no fishing for the fob to turn it on just hit the button. It looks like it belongs on a boat or service vehicle, but I'm not fussy, and the price is right. Like if i do 45mph will it fly off?** A: The magnets are good but designed for low speeds. I would say 35 to 40mph. If you are off-road or on rough terrain, slower would be better. I love it. ### ⭐ 2 units received not working *by J***B on March 5, 2025* I’ve received 2 of these and so far each unit has not worked. Both problems are with the remote. The remote arrived dead both times and once new batteries are in, the remote does not work. I noticed that the red light on the remote stays on constantly and while this is on the remote doesn’t work, it also drains the batteries within 24 hours. I reprogrammed and even got the light to work for about 5 minutes but then the problem came back as soon as possible. There is no way I can fix this problem and I’m really disappointed that this issue has occurred twice and was really looking forward to a simple light. I would highly recommend not ordering this light. There is no clear route to get replacement parts and based off other reviews I am not the only one with this sort of issue. I also found with both of the remotes the controllers have damaged circuit boards.
