I had a different endoscope before that connected to my Android phone, but the app support was outdated and it ended up being more trouble than it was worth. That was the main reason I bought this one, and honestly, this model should have been my first purchase. Having a built-in screen makes it a lot more practical for shop and garage use, and I do not have to fool with apps, Wi-Fi, or dragging my phone into dirty jobs. The picture is clear, the built-in light does the job, and the screen is easy to see while working. For a home mechanic, that matters a lot when you are trying to look down into tight spots, behind engine components, inside vents, or down in places you cannot get your eyes on directly. The 16.4-foot cable is also a big plus. It is long enough to reach where I need it, and the semi-rigid cable gives you enough control to guide it around without constantly fighting it. I also like that it is a standalone tool. You just turn it on and use it. No software headaches, no compatibility issues, and no worrying about getting grease, dirt, or coolant all over your phone. For checking inside automotive engines, behind dash areas, inside wall spaces, or even plumbing and drains, it is a handy tool to keep around. Overall, this has been a much better setup than the phone-connected model I had before. It is simple, clear, and ready to work right out of the box. For a home car mechanic or anyone who does their own repairs, this is one of those tools that makes jobs easier and saves time once you have it.

Works Great! Only down side is trying to move it around, but camera quality is good enough to see in a drain pipe! Saved me a couple hundred bucks not having to call a plumber!

I picked this up when I had a clogged sink drain. I was able to fix the clog issue with a drain snake before this arrived. HOWEVER, just this morning I dropped my wedding ring down a vent in my house. Using this camera, and one of the attachments, I was able to find my ring and drag it back up. Saved my butt and a potentially very angry wife. This camera has excellent resolution. There are zoom options, and you can change the brightness and contrast. 10/10. Would order again.

This horoscope save my butt when trying to identify a water leak in the ceiling of my house. I like that the hose is flexible and not too soft to where it's not adjustable. The ability to be able to adjust the angle makes a huge difference in the functionality of the product. The video quality overall is not fantastic but is pretty good and sufficient to see what you'll need especially when you are up close to whatever you need to see. It paid for itself after it's first use by allowing me to identify the area of drywall I needed to remove in my first attempt without exploratory removal. The battery life is also very good. There may be other products that have better video quality but overall this is a great product for the price and I would recommend.

Thus boroscope was fully charged, included all of the mentioned equipment and worked immediately. I bought this boroscope based on price and low expectations. I recently came across 2 muzzleloaders that appeared to be in very poor shape. One still had a cap loaded so I needed to know whether they were loaded or not. The few inches inside the barrel were full of rust and looked bad. Neither of them would fully disassemble so I couldn't verify whether they were loaded. Attached are pictures inside each verifying that they are both loaded and the rifling inside of one is included as well. (I've got my work cut out for me!) The boroscope took some getting use to the distance needed to see what I was looking to verify (rifling, rust, rounds etc) but the lighting was sufficient, the detail sufficient and overall I was impressed with what was seen. The cord was stiff and came coiled which was fine once straightened out (make sure the portion closest to the hand held unit is "broken" in or it gets to be a 3 handed task. A drain I attempted to look in did not go very good. Once in the trap the picture clarity dropped drastically and it did not want to make the turn into the pipe so that might take some more effort that I didn't do. I did peak under a doorway into my kids' rooms while they were in there and doing it silently was not impressive but again, I wanted them to have a heads up. The picture was good but the attitude/kids feedback was not. Overall, I'm impressed and with the price, will keep it. I will store in original box and found it very easy to use and very portable. The pictures are from my phone since this does not take pictures.

Needed this to check inside wall for a pipe leak. Just was not up to the task due to two reasons: first the image quality made it impossible to determine mildew or dark areas near the leak, and second the camera angle is very tricky to get right past about 4 feet. I had to refund but for the cost it is a decent camera. Three stars because 1080p is a lie. Maybe the camera or screen is but not both. It's hardly 480p

This was super helpful examining a plumbing problem over the weekend and getting it on a Sunday morning after I ordered it. While I have only used it once--owning it was cheaper that a one-time plumber camera charge and of course not as durable or capable as there's, but I didn't require it to be. I like the handle vs the tablet style. It is an amazing value.

Seller, this equipment has stopped working in jut 5 months after purchase. Your page says that it has 12 months worry free warranty. Please advise where / whom to contact for the warranty asap ???
