This tape works really well for helping improve the appearance of scars... I've used it on a very old scar on my knee, that isn't horrible, but it's noticeable and this has definitely helped, the edges sometimes lift with clothing rubbing against it, so I'll use a medical tape over this scar tape, but continued use has really been effective. I've also used for mouth taping to help improve breathing and sleep, it's so nice compared to other mouth taping options (kt style tape or medical tape) the scar tape is incredibly gentle and it's absolutely helped with preventing dry and chapped winter lips. Can reuse the tape a few times before discarding, so it's cost effective as well. Very pleased, and will continue to purchase and use.

I'm not a medical person but I do comparison shop, and I'm impressed with this small, lightweight first aid kit. I ordered three for Christmas gifts hoping they wouldn't be too large or bulky, and they aren't. It's a handy size to go in a backpack, range bag, console, or drawer at home. This kit includes items like a tourniquet, CPR kit, shears, tweezers, a type of compression bandage (not an Israeli), large triangular bandage, whistle, emergency "space" blanket, etc., in addition to items such as bandaids and alcohol swabs. The mesh pockets are labeled for content groups, except for the tourniquet pocket. No OTC meds are included but there is room to add a few if you'd like. The main compartment closes with double zipper pulls and there is a separate flat zipper compartment on the front that contains the little personal meds zip bags. I'm adding some individual packets of triple antibiotic, burn, and hydrocortisone creams plus individual packets of Advil and aspirin to that compartment. (I found those on amazon.) I also added a rolled-up generic pair of nitrile gloves from a package I already had to one of the wound care pockets inside. I ordered a 6" Israeli compression bandage to add to each kit, but they were far too large without removing the outer envelope; hopefully a 4" one might fit between the halves of the kit but I'm not sure. I may have to give those separately. This is a better than average kit for its small size even without adding anything to it, though. There is a small top strap for hand carry, and a hanging loop, two velcro straps, and a place for a belt to go through on the back for waist carry. So many small kits seem to be just mostly bandaids and a few gauze pads, but this one has some items for more serious, life threatening emergencies. I'm sure they're not all the most expensive or best versions at this price, but hopefully they would be sufficient if there is a need, and certainly better than none. A well designed and organized, compact kit for the number of items inside, and a good value.

I bought this to use on forehead lines and smile lines. Even though I washed my face and then cleaned with alcohol this tape did not stick well. I would not buy again. EDIT: added a couple stars due to the excellent customer service. The company reached out to me and offered me a full refund. Apparently they do read their review and take them seriously. This tape may stick well on other parts of the body but did not work for me on the face.

I whave a large scar on my leg left over from a biopsy that should have been done by a plastic surgeon rather than a primary care Dr. The scar is pretty big and I’m self conscious about it. This tape has helped reduce the appearance of the scar in the short time I’ve been using it. You get a decent sized roll for the $. It sticks well to the skin but it is not hard to remove when you need to take it off to apply a new piece. I left it on in the shower and it still stayed stuck to me. It is also super easy to cut into the shape of the scar you are trying to treat. Definitely worth picking some up if you are wanting to reduce the appearance of your scars.

Backing is difficult to separate from the tape, which causes the adhesive material of the tape to stretch away, gum-up, and in turn, curle in on itself; and ball-up, leaving the tape unusable. Discovered that running water over the tape while separating it from the backing helps to reduce the problem. It can, then, be patted dry and applied to skin. After I did that, it adhered well to skin, felt softer and more comfortable than a previous brand I had used. Will most likely continue to use this particular product. Update: been using for about three weeks on my face. Have gotten tired of dealing with how difficult it is to separate the tape from the backing. Also, during the night, the taped skin becomes moist and uncomfortable. I land up removing it in my sleep (only time I can wear it). Going to try a different brand.

I have been using the regular (not Advanced) scar tape since the beginning of November and I definitely see improvement. I cannot say if the improvement is greater than I would have experienced without using this but I am pleased! During this time, I believe I have had to replace the tape approximately four times (including this morning). The tape is comfortable to wear and easy to cut, place, remove and wash. I had to buy some new underwear with a higher waistband so it did not constantly rub against the tape on my low abdominal scar and cause it t roll on the edges a bit. With the higher waistband, all is well! I would definitely recommend this product (regular only, I cannot vouch for the Advanced).

This product is excellent for reducing hrperpigmentation and the appearance of scars. It can be used for a number of things including, keloid, stretch marks, surgical and acne scars. The product can be cut to specific size so no waste and can be washed and reused. It is not to be used on open wounds but areas that have healed over. I would recommend this scar tape to anyone looking to minimize their scars.

Highly recommend this product for anyone looking to minimize the appearance of scars. I found that it was easier to apply compared to other scar tape that I have used in the past. It stays on well on my affected area, and easy to remove.

I love this product that Protect Life has come out with!! After cutting the desired strip, and properly cleaning my hands and the area of the scar, u place this tape on, u basically let's say over a week, it will drastically reduce the appearance of your scar's or stretch marks! Like when I say I'm obsessed I am! I had a tummy tuck and I was cut hip to hip, and around my belly button, well..., after using this product, I can honestly say I am HOOKED!!! I tried to make a video review of Protect Life's Silicone Scar tape, however it would not upload no matter what I did. Sorry, HOWEVER,, go buy this product and stock every first aid kit you have! Ps, do NOT use on open cuts, or scabs or burns.

The tape is a bit thin, likes to adhere to itself but not to skin. Have not used long enough to tell if it helps with scars because it usually loosens and falls off. Last year I used the Edousin product with excellent results,so it’s not always a good idea to save money.
