Why am I getting a black screen with message that says “BT Device: smartDongle-AB21” when car starts up for a few minutes until it corrects itself to play car play???

It connected to the bluetooth but never worked as car play

Doesn’t display YouTube videos No refund option

Super easy to get started. Just plug it in and connect. Everything feels to be decent quality. No difference in visual or audio quality when wirelessly connected. It is fast enough to connect and get started. Maybe a second or two longer than plugging my phone directly into the outlet, but not bad enough to make Me stop using it There are a few quirks, because of the way it connects to the dongle. I often use my phone as a hotspot, but that prevented my phone connecting, so I have to make sure to turn it off before I go somewhere, otherwise it doesn’t connect Nice and small, but I wish there was an option to just have a direct usb or like an L connection. I would prefer if the dongle just sat at the usb port, instead of doing this little limp bend because of the 3 inch cable lol. But again, not an actual issue. Overall, Pretty great and would buy again for myself or somebody else

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my setup for wireless CarPlay on my GX. I was tired of dealing with cables, so I decided to make the switch. For context, I got my GX in September 2023, and it’s been the best car I’ve ever owned—low MPG and all. We bought it when we were expecting our first baby, and since then, it’s become our safe haven on the road. I’m really glad I upgraded from my Mazda CX-5 to the GX460, especially knowing the new 550 would keep the GX460’s fanbase strong, including me! Back to the topic—I’d like to share my wireless CarPlay setup in case anyone with a GX is interested. First, I browsed a lot of adapters on Amazon and found one with great reviews and Lexus compatibility. I’ve included the Amazon link to the adapter I use. Additionally, I recommend an L-shaped USB adapter, which allows you to close the lid on the central console USB port. i’m a brutally honest guy, first things first, i’m sorry, i don’t have any other photos besides that one at the moment, when i get my car on monday, i’ll record the gadget itself and how i have it displayed, me personally i got so lucky that the length of the bend was enough to make the device stick, since, when purchasing this a 3CM SMALL CIRCLE double sided tape comes w/ it. If i’m being honest again, for me personally most double sided tapes are weak or get dirty easy etc etc, but this one, i made sure to locate to where i wanted it to be, sticked it and applied pressure in every angle, so it doesn’t fall out and till this day it doesn’t fall out, i can easily unplug it, but DO NOT buy this gadget if you don’t even have car play in your car nor if you don’t even have it, or if you don’t even know if you have it. “Car Play” can be seen in i’d say most new-used-decent cars, depending what brand of car, the model, trim, etc,for those who don’t know or don’t understand , this gadget allows you to have apple car play display w/o having to use a usb cable for it; at the end of the day you still need the use cable so you can charge your phone😂 but, when you don’t need to, bluetooth car play is great! i forgot to mention, but so far for me since its been a while since i’ve purchased this, sometimes it takes a minute or so to load up when the car gets turned on. Me personally i don’t mind that i ain’t in no rush, music first, then we’re dipping, you gmfu😂 but anywho, just putting it out there for people who are fragile towards that, it’s worth the money for what you want to see to be honest, why would i lie?

Works well with my Kia. The audio connection is delayed so if you’re watching videos, it will not sync up but otherwise it’s a pretty good product.

Guys, trust me this product will make your drive smooth. It’s take all the hustle of connecting and waiting your phone to detect car play and then you can use maps or other apps etc. With this gadget, once you are connected at the first time, it connects automatically and seamlessly the moment you start your car. This is so smooth that I am gifting it to my friend as well. Great performance and compatible with most car, mine is Honda, works well.
