Ernie Ball Comfort Slide Guitar Slide - Medium

Having the soft insert greatly helps with both comfort and stability (i.e. it doesn't threaten to fall off). For someone who very rarely plays slide I've acquired a modest collection of different sizes of slide made of different materials. This is the only one that has earned a permanent place in the little bag of bits that accompanies the guitars everywhere.

Terrific slide! I love the feel and weight of the black chrome plated brass construction. The cushioned insert is very comfortable to wear and it had has great resonance on the strings.

Decent side, doesn’t scratch and comfortable to use. Order a size bigger imho. Medium too small for me and Ive got skinny fingers. Returned and swapped for a large.

Nicely made, I like the feel of it and therefore easily move over frets with added precision. Colour good in dimly lit environment. Just be mindful of the sizing. I could of gone a size up. I have medium sized hands/ fingers but room enough for an extra size up for added comfort.

It’s a nice enough slide. I liked the idea of the “polished black chrome finish”. However it started showing scratch marks pretty much from day 1. It’s hard to photograph this but there are scratch marks from the guitar strings all over the slide and I’ve only had it a week. I actually have no issue with wear and tear but I personally believe this is black paint, not black chrome. In which case Ernie Ball should change how they market it.

Be Careful! It is very small, but I took the rubber and it fits. Easy to use. It is impossible to scratch. Useable for Acoustic, Electric, Lap Steel. Etc

I purchased a 'small' slide which is stated as being ring size 5-7. It turns out to be a ring size 6, so I guess that is somewhere between 5 and 7. Also, the diameter of the slide differs by about 0.5mm between the two ends which gives the slide some wriggle room depending on which end you slide your finger into. When looking at the listing's picture of the slide, the bottom end's diameter is 0.5mm narrower than the top end.

Este es un slide muy bonito y sólido. Se ve que durará toda la vida. Pedí el S usando la guía de Ernie ball donde menciona que S es para un tamaño de anillo 5-7. Yo quería usar el slide en el dedo anular, donde uso anillos 6.25 o 6.5. No contaba con que me quedaría muy justo! Ahora me toca usar el slide en el meñique. Recomiendo pedir una talla más grande para mayor comodidad.
