I got these with the plugs as a kit, and they fit my '98 Tacoma perfectly. Like a new pickup truck again!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Perfect fit!

There are certain critical parts that I will only buy OEM for my Toyotas. Spark plug wires is one of them along with radiator caps and fuel pumps. These wires installed easily and the truck runs well. Be sure to mark which wires go to which plugs, I had to look it up online because I forgot to and these wires are only marked for which coil pack each plugs into, not the spark plug side. My only concern when installing them was there was no clear “snap” of the connector sliding over and latching onto the electrode on the coil pack. It turns out these are a little shorter at that end and kind of rest on top of the coil pack electrode. The plastic retaining clip does snap on nicely and I guess that is what holds that end in place. On the spark plug side there was the expected snapping in place on the plug.

Running like a champ

I installed this wiring set on my 01 4 runner. It went fairly easy , the wires are labeled for the 1, 3, and 5 cylinder which is on the passenger or coil side of the engine. They fit great and look great very happy with my purchase and price was way better than any auto parts store.

I bought these to do a tune up of my 2001 Toyota 4runner and they work pretty well. The wires are cheapest here on Amazon and the NGK brand is a very reputable company. These fit my vehicle well but were a bit of a pain to install on the driver side. The wires are blue and really stand out in the engine bay. For the 5vz-fe engine cylinder 1 goes to cylinder 4, cylinder 3 to 6, and cylinder 5 to 2. One thing that may be a problem is none of the wires are labeled so the lengths will be up to you to match based on the cylinder position. Other than that, they are a great set for an engine tune-up. UPDATE: I must be blind but when I was doing the valve cover gaskets I realized that the plug wires are in fact labelled for the passenger side pistons. Changed from 4 to 5 stars.

some people had complained about not being long enough so I was a little skeptical to order these cables, but when they arrived they looked just about the right size and they look and feel of great quality. I had some problems with my 1997 4runner with a V6 engine misfiring and lack of power. After replacing the spark plugs I noticed that the wires looked very dry and old, so I decided to replace them with this set. After installing these cables my problem with misfiring is gone and my engine runs very smooth now and the power is back. I had no problems with the size of these cables for my vehicle, they where just as long as my old ones.
