Perfect fit for Rainforest Santos cage
Our cockatoo would often start screeching as soon as dawn broke. This cover (size 5) is a perfect fit for our Rainforest Santos dome cage. It provides complete blackout for the cage and our cockatoo is now much more content and sleeps through until we remove the cover. The cover is a bit awkward to put on the cage as it is so large but the effort is definitely worthwhile. The front has a flap which can be lifted to clear the cage door leaving the main part of the cover in place but, when the flap is closed, it is held in place by velcro strips. However our Goffins cockatoo, reputed to be one of the most destructive of the species, would bite holes in the cover so we remove it completely during the day. We just wish we had bought this cover 30 years ago when we first had the bird. Now humans and bird get a decent night's sleep.

Good quality cover
This is a great cover, heavy duty and covers the cage well. African grey very snug at night now. A bit pricey but hopefully we won't have to buy another one for years.

Potentially a good cover, but I carefully measured the cage, got the correct size, and it's a couple of inches too small. It fits but not comfortably, and the flap is not central to the door as in the illustration but is at the end.

Perfect fit cover for my cage
This cover fits my cage like a glove, perfect size..as soon as my birds go to bed i cover them over and as its black they sleep quietly until morning when i uncover them..only gripe i have is that its big and all black and difficult to know which is back or front and sometimes hard to get over the cage the right way round..perhaps it would be helpful to have a bright colour line around the edge, i usually roll up the front taking it over towards back of cage to remove then just do the reverse to cover over..other than that it was a great buy, no regrets.

Brilliant
After looking & reading alot of others I went for this one.My daughter helped me measure up & I can honestly say I'm not disappointed fits great & am very pleased. ive not washed it yet tho but it is well made & am not worried about when I do
