Very functional - includes a handy bottle opener - easy to grip, comfortable to hold and very sharp. Fabulous for price paid - which even includes blade protection!

Two pairs of kitchen scissors. The firm plastic finger grips are the largest I've ever seen at 6½ cm or just under 2½ inches in old money. This makes them very comfortable to use especially if you have finger problems such as arthritis. Even with my swollen knuckles I could still fit 3 fingers in each opening. The hinge mechanism is very smooth and enclosed in a simple but effective casing. The blades are equal at 9 cm or 3½ inches old money and come to sharp point. This isn't anything to worry about as both scissors come with their own tough plastic blade guard that slips easily over the blades when closed. Each pair have one serrated blade that smoothly meets the other blade which is finely beveled and very sharp. I easily spatchcocked a whole chicken with these scissors without any effort whatsoever. And I would suggest they will cut any meat into dice with equal ease. On the beveled blade of each pair is a bottle opener hook which with the large handles make using it very easy indeed. On the inner edge of each handle is a ridged metal bar which can be used to operate bottle caps which I have to say seems a little bit over kill considering the bottle opener hook. And I found it difficult to apply the pressure needed to grip a bottle top. Overall I would say these are an excellent purchase especially when they only cost just over a fiver for the two. Those of us with arthritis in their fingers like me are likely to find these easy to use for cutting almost anything.

Sharp- Very good quality and durability. I use it for cutting chicken bones and meats. It can easily cut raw and cooked meat without tiring the hand. Very easy to clean and feels like dishwasher safe. Still sharp after several months of intensive use.

I got these for my daughter heading off to uni and they’ve been a great buy. The blades are sharp and cut cleanly through packaging, food packets, and even tougher materials without struggling. They’ve got a nice weight to them, not flimsy at all, and the grip is comfortable to hold.Super pleased with them !

Good sized chunky and strong scissors...was pleasantly surprised by the quality of them...arrived quickly and in perfect condition...would definitely recommend!

Dans ma cuisine depuis l'achat, ils répondent à mes besoins, ne rouillent pas et coupent parfaitement même des câbles en cuivre électriques (oui je sais c'est pas fait pour ça!)....manche cassé récemment pour avoir utilisé les ciseaux dans le mauvais sens - écarter au lieu de presser!...vite réparé avec de l'Araldite bi-composant.
