Smiling Friends: The Complete First Season (Blu-ray)

Very funny show in higher quality than any streaming service could offer. Physical media supports show creators far more than streaming it a 100 times would do. And you own the content, so it will never be taken from you when the streaming service changes.

Such a crazy and funniest animated series I ever seen!

Smiling Friends is by far one of the best adult cartoons ever made just from it's 2 seasons out alone. Just from a review of the season on this disc it would be a 5 stars, but the disc is a little flawed. For one the case is a very basic plastic Blu-Ray case, which is mostly fine, but something a bit more quality would have been nice. The cover art is very simple, but I think it's very effective regardless and conveys the show very well. I had no issues with the disc falling out of place in the case in shipping which has been an issue for me on many of these cheap cases. The disc has very few special features but the commentary track is insanely entertaining. If you are a fan of Zach Hadel and Michael Cusack's sense of humor you will find this to be one of the funniest commentary tracks you've heard. This is a very bare-bones Blu-Ray and it would have been nice to have a tad bit more supplementary material this gets the job done. It's a great show with a serviceable encode/authoring job and a great commentary track. Nothing much else I can say, but buy this disc and put on a happy face!

Smiling Friends is one of the funniest and most unique adult animated shows I’ve seen in years. The humor is bizarre in the best way, with sharp writing, unpredictable storylines, and unforgettable characters. Watching it on Blu-ray is a treat — the picture quality is super crisp, and it’s great having all the episodes in one place without relying on streaming. I only wish there were more special features, but overall, this is a great purchase for fans of surreal comedy. Highly recommend! “We’re the Smiling Friends! We try to make people smile.”

I love smiling friends, it has quickly become one of my favorite TV shows and I hope with enough support that they will bring future season to Blu-ray!!

This show does a very good job at portraying Philadelphia. This is exactly what it's like in real life, I have no notes. It's so annoying when I go to the park and there's the iconic clay man crying in the sandbox.
