Review: Great replacement for halogen bulbs - Purchased these back in 2019, meant to post a review before now. I bought these to replace halogen bulbs in all my lights. I found the halogen bulbs didn't last very long, Ive got around 35 bulbs and felt like I was replacing a bulb every month or so. I also twice had one explode we turning on which was pretty frightening. The first time it happened I put it down as a freak occurrence, the second time I ripped all of them out and replaced with LEDs. 2 years on and I am very happy with these bulbs, not a single one has failed in that time and they are very bright. There is no lag, they turn on instantly, and no flicker. The only thing to watch for is they are longer than normal bulbs so might not fit in the fittings. Mines almost don't fit, the fittings don't screw in all the way but enough to do. Very happy with these.

I have only given an average 3 stars for longevity as it is ridicules to ask that of an item which should last 5 - 10 years in the first few months but I do expect them to be very long lasting as they appear to be very well made.

**Q: Could you use these bulbs in an electric wax melt lamp like woodwick electric barrel wax melt burner - amber glow - oil burner**
A: If the wax melt lamp uses the heat from the bulb to melt the wax then no as leds are very cool running bulbs

**Q: I have images of bulbs can u see if these are the same as you are selling**
A: The ones I bought last April appear superficially the same but have a 5mm square black box at the base of the LED stack. Note, these are not dimmable.

**Q: Can these bulbs be used with a dimmer switch.?**
A: Sorry, I cannot answer your question, I do not have a dimmer switch.

**Q: Are these bulbs Dimmable?**
A: It clearly states not dimmable.

Look very well made, easy to fit, nice & bright, very good price, cheap to run. What more can you want from a bulb? I have only given an average 3 stars for longevity as it is ridicules to ask that of an item which should last 5 - 10 years in the first few months but I do expect them to be very long lasting as they appear to be very well made.

Purchased a pack of ten and fitted all of them in the bedroom ceiling lights. Powerful but warm light, absolutely no flicker, looks like a very good G9 LED bulb. The bulbs are a bit longer than a normal halogen one but the dimensions are clearly stated so everyone should know if they fit before buying. Overall very satisfied and I just purchased 20 more to replace them all over the house. As I got them delivered today I just noticed one from the initial batch burnt out. Hopefully is just an accident and none will follow. Time will tell.
