It does a good job of taking care of whatever goes doen the sink. Swapping it out was very easy since I didn't remove the previous part that mounts it to the sink. Took the old one down, swapped the wires, and put this one up. It fit perfectly in the same space with the same bracket. Not a hard DIY job. I trust the brand and am confident this will last a long time.
