Love these things! You don't have to take them on an off. Just dial up or down for silence or to hear and converse.

These earphones are the best I have ever owned. They cancel out the noise on the range as well as allow you to adjust the volume in order to carry on a conversation with others. Definitely a keeper.

Good value for the price. Does what it is supposed to do. Amplifies voice and surpresses gunshot noise. Now, for a couple of caveats: 1: the polarity marking on the battery holder is awfull hard to see. Be careful, the batteries are NOT both facing in the same direction. The good news: it doesnt damage the circuit if you insert them the wrong way. (guess how I know that) 2: Could use more adjustment latitude.

This Prohear electronic ear protection really works great, are you sit in my shop when I'm running my saws and the compressor and a drowned out 90% of the noise. Very pleased and highly recommended.

I first purchased the Walkers Slim ear protection and found the audio very poor. Volume was low, and tinny. I did not like the fit, they were so slim they actually looked sort of stupid on your head. The volume knob was hard to find. I returned them and tried these and they are MUCH better quality. The volume is sensitive and noise cancelling is faster and stronger. The volume is large and easy to find. They fit well (a little tight at first) and don't look dumb on your head. The headband is padded, over all much better quality.

Good product

I bought these for the range and notably for Starship launches. I've seen 8 of the 12 Starship launches from Isla Blanca in Boca Chica/Starbase and these make a world of difference, especially with the recent V3 raptor engine debut. Isla Blanca is approximately 4.9 miles from the launch pad and boy you really should wear ear protection, especially with the new engines. The pad 2 flame trench helps offset the shockwaves a little, but not much. I have tinnitus and minor hearing loss from chronic ear infections as a kid and 3 ear tube surgeries, so earpro is especially necessary for me. If these headphones working to protect my fragile ears from the largest rocket that's ever been launched from Earth, I don't know what will. Without earpro I typically leave the launch site with a throbbing migraine and the back of my eyes hurt from the pain in my ears as odd as that might sound. With these, I have zero issues when watching the launches both with the sound dampening on and with them turned off. They're super adjustable and the battery lasts for ages, I haven't needed to replace them at all yet, most of these headsets do last a long time. I think they come with an auto shutoff feature if they've been on long enough too. These work as minor hearing aids too--I've noticed that, at full volume, I can hear significantly more. These cancel out claps, barks and even squealing children. I use these at home when I get migraines as well, they help a ton, especially when the complex landscapers come each week. They also help with focus if I need it to be really quiet (and my neighbors are making that difficult). They come with patches, some earplugs and a case for them, a carry bag and an aux cable. The muffs fold up on themselves to fit in the carry bag. Great for the range by design, but also for rocket launches, loud kids and obnoxious neighbors. 10/10.

Great product for the price. The sound amplification once activated is incredible. At the highest setting there can be a bit of mic interference, but honestly there’s no real need to run it that high anyway. Overall, I’m still giving it 5 stars because it performed exactly how I wanted it to at the range. I could clearly hear my steel target ringing at 300 meters, still have conversations with people around me, and most importantly protect my hearing. Great product — would definitely recommend.
