I bought a kit for inflatable boats - its the only system suitable for constantly moving and stretching surfaces. They're not cheap but they will work. The patches supplied by Aerobed are worse than pathetic. **Q: Can this be pumped up using an in car air pump as i am looking to buy for camping with no access to a mains socket** A: hello - I don't think so because of the inlet valve - it's not like a car tyre valve, it's a hole about an inch across with a one-way valve. The pump supplied with the bed is designed to connect directly to the inlet valve. Unless the suppliers make an adapter which would interface between the valve on the bed and a car air pump it wouldn't be possible to connect to the bed. This is just my guess. **Q: What are the dimensions of the king size?** A: I couldn't say off the top of my head but it is the same size as a king sized bed and sits about 60cm off the floor. **Q: My kingsize aerobed has only been used about 6 times since i bought it in june 2016 and sadly it deflates a little during the night; what to do? jm** A: We have noticed that on first inflation the air bed will deflate slightly but once reinflated it should be fine. This is mentioned in the manual. Packaging was compact for the size.I ordered this as a future guest bed, and ended up using it myself for a week after moving as my mattress delivery was delayed. I'd slept on a friend's single Aerobed before and knew it'd be comfortable, and it was. I didn't have to reinflate it over the week, even though you'd notice it losing a bit of pressure around the edges.There was minimum set up required and it was ready to go in seconds. It deflated very quickly also.Anyone who tried it out since has found it really conmfortable, including those who have back pain issues. The fact that it's as high as your regular sofa seat helps the look and would be ideal for those who might find it difficult getting on and off a lower bed.If it wasn't for the chance of the cat putting her nails through it, I might've used it for longer! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Very nice but valve failed. *by P***S on 20 March 2014* We bought this for when we have guests in the house, it's all very nice to sleep on but after 6 months and using it in total probably for about 20-30 nights the valve seems to have failed, it deflates and no puncture could be found. Amazon have replaced it so we'll see how long the next one lasts. Given that we have another cheap one we got from Argos years ago that still works fine it is disappointing that this rather expensive airbed didn't last. ### ⭐ very comfortable but broke on third use *by A***N on 17 August 2013* This bed was great for the first two times we used it, very comfortable, easy to put up and pack away and fantastic size but on the third time we used it holes appeared in the joins on the top of the bed and the bed deflated, as per other reviews the puncture repair kit won't stick to the top layer.
