Mini Moo's Half and Half, 192/Carton, Sold as 1 Carton, 192 Each per Carton

I only use Mini Moos. I don't want flavored creams. Mini Moos are perfect in my coffee, and I also use them to add to beaten eggs, homemade chocolate ganache, and many other things I make in my kitchen. The shelf life is great, the convenience is perfect. My husband has arthritis in his hands and he has no trouble peeling back the tab to open each individual serving container. That is a real big deal to him.

I've been ordering half and half in small cups because I hate cold coffee and any refrigerated cream reduced the temp. I was using coffee mate but it has negative 0 nutritional value, in fact it's probably the worst thing invented. Like everyone else, the battle is finding a decent seller who has enough respect to be honest and not sell expired cream/change dates/ Send damaged containers or fail to pack well enough to protect it. So far this seller is the only one to have a decent expiration 2 months past my anticipated completion and it's packed well and intact, So, I'm going to place a second order right now and I'll update you.

Great product, but I was disappointed when the box of 192 just arrived with an expiration date about 5 weeks from now. Should be more like 3mos. I have purchased these before and when they get old, they don't per se taste bad or have bacteria growing in them as they are UHT-processed, but they do separate and curdle in your coffee. These look and taste okay now, but I wanted them to last a couple of months as I only use them as back-up when I run out of half-and-half.

Easier than going to Sams Club, and not much more expensive when considering shipping cost. I would consider any price difference to be the cost of convenience. And clearly these don't stay on vendor's shelf for long given that expiration is 6 months out.

Mini Moos are UHT pasteurized so, in principle, they can have a long shelf life. The H&H has a slightly cooked taste, so you should know that you're trading stability and convenience against the need for refrigeration and taste when you go this route. Ordering a large batch online is a bit of a gamble because you don't know what sort of pull-date you're getting. Often, it's surprisingly short - like 30 days. If you aren't using them quickly, you might need to throw them out. On or near the pull date, they'll start to curdle in your coffee and you'll get unappealing chunks floating in your brew. Overall, these can be super-convenient because they don't require refrigeration. The taste, while not as good as fresh H&H, is way better than non-dairy alternatives. Just don't buy a big batch expecting them to taste a long time.
