This was a trial to the $60 inserts that we've previously purchased from a sports store. They've held up for 3 months of constant wear and I'm very impressed! It's held up just as good as the $60 inserts. The arch through the heel is a semi-hard plastic and so far it's held it's shape. So even if they don't last the entire 6-12 months like the expensive ones, I can afford to purchase several to put in all of his shoes instead of switching them out all the time!
