Love it but instructions should have come with it though I had to figure it out by myself

Bought this tailgate assist and after installing it on a hilux I can't tell a difference on the drop o lift of the tailgate. The piston is not made for this, probably will be good on a toy truck.

Qualify of components seem good. Only things to note. An installation instruction manual is not included. Also, the bolt provided in the kit was too long as it hit the taillight housing. Thus, it has to be trimmed. This was installed on a 2022 Toyota Hilux Invincible X (N80/GUN126). Tools require for the installation are as follows: *10mm socket * 14mm socket + wrench to fasten bolt provided * Torx T40 bit

Every thing came in good condition but I had to make an extra hole on the base to fit my car. For the size I guess it does a fair job but it struggles to hold the weight of my Hilux door. Not bat but neither great.
