Inside, you get: * A fountain pen (for thoughts you want to feel important) * A ballpoint pen (for everything else you will inevitably forget five minutes later) * A general sense that your handwriting should improve immediately The fountain pen writes with that slightly dramatic, smooth ink flow that makes even grocery lists feel like literature. The ballpoint is more practical, but still far above “borrowed-from-a-supermarket-drawer” energy. Realistically: * The set is positioned as a classic executive-style gift with a solid metal build and Parker’s signature arrow clip design * It’s designed for everyday reliability, with a fountain pen nib and smooth Quinkflow ballpoint refill for consistent writing * It comes properly boxed, very much in “this is a meaningful gift” territory rather than “I panic-bought this in Tesco” territory What I didn’t expect: * I now write slower on purpose, like my thoughts deserve processing time * Signing receipts feels unnecessarily ceremonial * I’ve started judging other pens in public, silently, like a Victorian scholar with opinions Pros: * Genuinely smooth writing experience (both pens behave like they’ve had manners training) * Nice weight and balance—feels substantial without being heavy * Fountain + ballpoint combo covers every writing situation imaginable * Excellent “gift impact” level—looks far more expensive than it feels to use Cons: * You will start overthinking your handwriting immediately * People will assume you’re either organised or about to resign dramatically * You may develop opinions about ink flow, which is a slippery slope Final verdict: 10/10 gift set. 10/10 accidental personality upgrade. 0/10 chance of ever going back to “cheap pen from a drawer” life without feeling emotionally downgraded.

A beautifully designed pen that feels good in hand, writes smoothly and has great capacity. Always draws (no pun intended) admiring comments from others. I really enjoy using it.

It writes well, once you get used to using a fountain pen again. It looks very stylish.

J'ai utilisé ce stylo pendant plusieurs jours et je suis très satisfait(e). >L'écriture est fluide et précise, sans bavures. >La prise en main est confortable, même pour de longues sessions.
