Cheap but not bad

This cord worked for data transfer to and from an obsolete iPad and my iBook.

I pulled out my old iPod and it wouldn’t charge so I went to my local apple store and was told that the battery most likely degraded. I then called apple support and was advised to get a new cable on Amazon. I am happy that I did because as soon as I plugged in this new cable my iPod started charging. It fits perfectly, is compatible with the iPod classic and the price is a lot less than what I would have ended up paying at the Apple Store. This far I have only used it this once so I don’t know how long it will last but it feels like it’s make of better materials than Apple cables

These were perfect for getting an old ipad up and running. They also work great if you have an old ipod you want to add as a permanent music player in an old car or something like that.They are thin and kind of flimsy but for this price you get two of them and the two I got both work as expected so I deducted one star because they are flimsy, but everything else was exactly as I would have expected so you can buy with confidence.

Good quality, they plug easily and do not fall appart or destroy my Ipod.

Fit perfectly that's all I needed.

DO NOT under any circumstances purchase this item. I plugged my ipod into my PC using this cable and it immediately started smoking. A spot on the bottom of my ipod began glowing red, which is where the black spot in the image now. My iPod's 30 pin connector no longer works. Safety hazard.

I found a long-forgotten 160 GB iPod in a drawer and wondered if it still worked (held a charge). I bought this 30-pin to USB cable and—whattaya know?—the iPod n other only works, but Apple Music (who genius changed the name from iTunes, anyway?) recognizes it. Very cool.

This plug worked to sync my old iPod nano to my computer when others failed.
