I donโt know why modern storm doors dont have these safety chains anymore. These did the job perfectly. Even the installation instructions made sense, which rarely happens any more

4 stars 'cause nobody believes a 5 star review
Not wanting to put self closing devices on our security doors, these work great to keep them from being opened into the outside wall. I may be wrong, but I don't believe the manufacturer allowed for attachment to metal doors. I fortunately had sheet metal screws that I used to attach the hardware. Would recommend and would buy again, though I don't imagine that will be necessary because they seem to be made with quality materials.

Not bad but I made it easier to install by adding / modifying a few parts to attach spring. Also, use your own screws. They are junk.
