Dunlop Blizzard Snow Boots, Lined Winter Wellies

Very comfortable. I'm a size 9. I ordered a size 9. I am wearing sports socks, they are not thick. The boots are snug enough. I reckon you could wear these all year round. Though in winter you would need thick socks as not exceptionally warm at all. But I like them a lot. They are warm enough and very comfortable. I cut the draw string off and pulled the string through until it snapped free. The draw string's in my opinion are pointless.

After sometime researching which pair of wellington boots to buy, I chose this make because it was middle of the range on price,and would be warmer to wear in the winter. They have been a good fit, and much warmer than my last pair of cheaper wellington boots. I think this choice was the right one for me. It is a good idea to take time to look at what is available to purchase,and what feature will be most important for your use.

As a Land Surveyor, a reliable pair of wellies are a must in the colder months. There’s nothing worse walking round a field to have soaking feet after half an hour so these are a life saver in winter or when it rains heavy.I’m a size 10 and find the fit is perfect with the use of heavyweight socks. A size down therefore wouldn’t be the end of the world if you don’t like wearing thick socks.The insides are lined nicely so my feet actually stay warm. This does mean however that after wearing for a prolonged period, your feet are sweating. The top of the boot has a draw string so it grips well to the leg and aids in a solid and stable fit.I’ve used for approx. 3/4 months on a weekly basis and they’ve stood up to everything so far without any signs of wear.Also handy for taking the dog out in the winter months but can be a little slippy so be careful.

I'd tried several brands of wellies to date, and had been bitterly disappointed in them all.The worst were a pair of new Hunter Wellington boots.They weren't especially comfortable, but with an insole were fine.However, almost a year into owning them (dog walking and occasionally helping at the dog rescue centre in the rain) I noticed my right foot was wet one day.On inspection, I found the seam attaching the sole to the upper had split.Since they were still quite new but out of warranty I bought some diving grade waterproof glue for dry suits from Amazon and fixed the problem. This was excellent stuff BTW.Annoyingly, yet another leak appeared shortly after fixing the first.Then, lo and behold, the other boot developed several splits in the rubber along the side and on the instep rendering the pair of Hunter Wellington boots useless.While all of this was happening to my Hunter wellies, my wife bought a pair of Hunter wellies from a different store only a month prior to when my own Hunter wellies developed the first issues.Within six months, my wife's Hunter wellies began having similar issuesHers developed leaks and faults on both boots, they now both let water and hers are also useless.Lesson learned - DO NOT BUY HUNTER WELLINGTON BOOTS BECAUSE THE QUALITY AND DURABILITY IS APPALLINGLY BAD.After browsing what my options for boots were on Amazon, along comes a suggestion for the Dunlop Blizzard wellies.So, I bought them through wardrobe because of the enhanced return policy.The moment I slipped them on it felt like I was wearing house slippers.The fit was precise, comfortaable, and as expected.Unlike some wellies, the fit is so good that they don't flop around too much when walking making them tiring to wear for long periods.So far, they're durable, hard wearing, and overall, they are far better than the much more expensive Hunter wellies.If I wanted to be picky, the sole is a tad thin when walking over the knobbly surfaces, but a memory foam insole has solved that very minor issue.Overall, the Dunlop Blizzard wellies are highly recommend.My wife and I are both very pleased with the boots, they're waterproof, warm, and comfy - exactly what is expected.If you try the Dunlop Blizzard boots for yourself we believe that you will find them as good as we have found ours!

Amazing, it’s waterproof obviously, is warm as it says in the description, is extra comfortable and very pretty I loveee it. Will definitely buy again in the fire for my hubby..

Have been envious of my wife’s thermal wellies for a couple of years. Purchased the dunlop blizzard after reading all the reviews. I am a size 13, these felt a tiny bit tight on the toes for 10 mins then loosened up.Great on the allotment in the protracted cold, wet spring . No more moaning whingeing husband for my wife to endure complaining about by cold feet.Best price I can find was on Amazon . Very happy

I love these boots, especially in winter. They are snug with furry lining inside, feel comfy and sturdy.I did have to buy another pair though because I accidently cut into the top of the foot with some large garden clippers at the allotment. Thanks to the thick rubber I managed to avoid cutting my actual foot! But needed a new pair as they were not fully waterproof after I cut a big hole in them! Whoops!I would advise buying at least half a size up as they are very snug and maybe a whole size up if you want to pair with warm thick socks.Great for walking through mud while fossil hunting, wading through streams with your kids, allotment gardening and for keeping those feet warm and snug in the wet and cold weather.They don't feel too heavy either and they feel sturdy and durable.Great value for a decent pair of long lasting wellies... as long as you don't accidently cut through them with gardening equipment!

They are really warm and comfortable and perfect for dog walking across wet fields. I’ve had them just in time for the snow and ice and they have been excellent. I recommend them.

Habe mir die Gummistiefel gekauft, weil ich wiederholt viele Quadratmeter Hoffläche mit einem Hochdruckreiniger sauber machen muss. Sie sind wasserdicht und auch bei längerem Tragen im Frühjahr komfortabel. Die angegebene Größe hat genau gepasst. Das Innenfutter ist angenehm zu tragen und mit passenden Socken bleiben meine Füße warm und trocken. Der Schaft hat einen ausreichenden Durchmesser, so dass ich mit meinen etwas stärkeren Waden dennoch gut Platz habe. Der Kauf war die richtige Entscheidung.
