Yes you can. I have the clear ball on while I am at work and then any other ball I want once I get home.

Has anyone used these during an MRI?

I used these during major foot surgery. The staff was fascinated that these things existed for us pierced folks. Absolutely no problem at all. The plastic doesn't conflict with any machinery and or medications! Should be just fine for your MRI.

It depends on what size you get they have 10 mm 8 mm 6 mm. Thicknesses all 16 gauge
